Shareholder Outreach
In 2008, Doyon created the shareholder outreach program to facilitate shareholder
hire. Since then, outreach has grown to offer many support services to assist shareholders.
Here at Shareholder Outreach, we:
- Inform shareholders of skills, training, and/or education requirements for Doyon
jobs.
- Educate shareholders on the steps needed to acquire gainful employment within the
Doyon Family of Companies.
- Recruit college students for internships within Doyon.
- Encourage youth readiness for employment opportunities with Doyon.
Shareholder outreach holds many events, including, resume workshops
and job fairs, booths at community events, and visits to high schools around the Doyon
region. Our mission is to inform shareholders about the employment opportunities available with the Doyon Family of Companies. If you have any questions, please contact
shareholder outreach at outreach@doyon.com.
Talent Bank
Doyon’s talent bank benefits both Doyon and Doyon shareholders. Entering your job
history, skills and interests into the talent bank allows Doyon to keep a record
of your job qualifications. Doyon can then match your profile with new job openings.

2012 Summer Doyon Internships
Doyon Currently Recruiting for Summer 2012 Doyon Internships
The Doyon internship program allows students the opportunity to work alongside Doyon management, and provides exposure to employment opportunities available within Doyon and its family of companies.
By providing practical experience while supporting a student’s field of study, the Doyon internship program is able to give students a whole new outlook on their academic major.
Doyon shareholder Sarah Walker began her internship with the Doyon, Limited communications department in the summer of 2011, following her freshman year at college. She attends the University of Alaska Fairbanks double-majoring in Alaska Native Studies and Rural Development with a concentrations in Alaska Native Law, Government, & Politics and Land, Resources, & Environmental Management.
Walker currently serves as the Student Coordinator for UAF’s Festival of Native Arts and serves as the president for the Festival of Native Arts Student club. She also serves as the President of UAF’s Native Alaskan Business Leaders (NABL) and participates with the UAF LIVE program and the Inu-Yupiaq Eskimo dance group. She is the Great-Granddaughter of Oliver and Olga Amouak.
The Doyon internship provided her with a thorough introduction to Doyon, Limited and allowed Doyon to see where she could potentially fit into the company after graduation.
“My communications and marketing internship provided me with a great learning experience. It opened my eyes to new career fields and provided me with some encouragement in my writing. I was also glad to find so many photographs of my great grandparents Oliver and Olga Amouak” –Doyon Shareholder Sarah Walker
