Robert Silas is 55 years of age and lives in Northway, Alaska. He has been a member of the Board of Directors since 1992 and served as Vice Chair from 2005-2008. He is Treasurer of Doyon Drilling, Inc. and serves on the Doyon Development Corporation board as well as the Lands and Resources Committee and Chair of the Shareholder Relations Committee. He works as a surface equipment operator for Teck-Pogo, Inc. in Delta Junction and previously worked as a heavy equipment operator for the State of Alaska.
