Frequently asked questions

Who are Doyon shareholders?

Doyon, Limited shareholders are individuals who own stock in Doyon, Limited. Primarily of Interior Athabascan Indian descent, our stockholders are either original, inherited, gifted, or life estate. As an Alaska Native Regional Corporation set up through ANCSA, Doyon is different from a typical corporation in that Doyon has no publicly traded stock and shares cannot be sold.

Do I have to be a shareholder to apply for a job?

No. However, as an Alaska Native Regional Corporation, we do grant preference to Doyon shareholders and shareholders of other Alaska Native Corporations.

How do I create a Talent Bank profile?

If you have not created an account before, click the “Create Talent Bank Profile” link on the Employment page. You can also create a profile during the application process from the “Submit Your Resume” page. Store your password as it, along with your e-mail address, will allow you to log back into the system at any time.

Can I apply for more than one position?

Yes. Once you’ve created a profile you can apply for as many jobs as you are qualified for. Review the job description and click the “Apply On-Line” link. When prompted, log in using the e-mail address and password you entered when creating your profile. You can update your information at any time.

How do I check the status of my application?

After logging in, click on the “View Submitted Applications” link to see any applications you have submitted, along with its status.

How will I know if my application has been submitted?

When your application is submitted you will receive a confirmation email with the subject line “Doyon has received your application!” This email will include your name, the position you applied for, and the Doyon company to which you’ve applied.

What if I didn’t mean to apply for a job or accidentally applied to the wrong job?

Please contact the Human Resources department for the Doyon company with which you’ve applied.

How do I provide my resume?

Copy the text from your resume document and paste into the “Resume” text box on the “Submit Your Resume” page. Select “Click here to autofill from Resume” to automatically fill in fields from your resume.

NOTE: If you don’t see the “Resume” text box on the “Submit Your Resume” page, you may be using an unsupported browser. Try using Google Chrome.

Additionally, you can upload your resume and other documents on the “Upload Resumé” page. Candidates are able to upload three files themselves. Contact the HR Help Desk at to have any additional documents uploaded to your profile.

Can I update my information?

Yes. You can update your information at any time. Click the “Edit Your Profile” link and log in to make changes.

What do I do if the system is not accepting my e-mail address or password?

You may not have created a profile yet. If not, you will need to create one (see question 3). If you have already created a profile but are unable to login, select the “Click here” link beside the “Can’t remember your password?” question. You will have two options:

  1. Enter your e-mail address and then click “Email My Password” to have your password sent to the e-mail address you provided when you created your profile; or
  2. Enter your e-mail address, choose your secret question, enter the answer, then click the “Log In” button to log into the system.

Why haven’t I received any emails from Doyon about my job application?

Look through your junk mail folder in case any emails to you were tagged as junk mail. Check your junk mail settings and be sure to add to your list of approved senders.

Why has my application been marked as ‘Incomplete’?

There may be required fields in the application that have not been filled in. To be sure, log in and page through your application carefully to ensure all required fields—those marked with a red asterisk (*)—have been completed.

Additionally, some applications may have an assessment. Make sure to move through all the pages, clicking Next until there are no more pages to complete.
