Doyon, Limited will celebrate the graduation of the 2016 Doyon Leadership Training (DLT) class on Saturday, October 8 from 3 – 5 p.m. at Doyon Industrial Facility at 615 Bidwell Ave. in Fairbanks, Alaska. All are welcome to join in the celebration where 15 graduates will be inducted into the DLT alumni group.
Led by facilitator Tracy Snow and coach Nina Heyano, both Doyon shareholders and co-owners of Inspire Leadership Academy, DLT is an intense, 10-month program that focuses on the personal growth and leadership of those selected to participate.
“As a participant of 2016 DLT, I’m very impressed with the material presented,” said Doyon shareholder Steffan Ulak. ”My experience throughout has been thought provoking and is outside the box on so many levels. Thanks to the instructors and my co-participants, I’ve enhanced my leadership proficiency, abilities, and gained valuable skills. This empowers me to foster dynamic relationships in all circumstances. In addition, I have a desire to pursue endeavors with a fresh perspective.”
Beginning October 3, the DLT application for the 2017 class will be made available at www.doyon.com. Participants are selected for the 10-month program based on the strength of their fully submitted application. Commitment to attendance and participation in every class is strongly encouraged for successful completion of the training. Training is held two consecutive days per month in Fairbanks.
“The program is a great opportunity for shareholders and Doyon employees looking to build leadership experience. Doyon encourages all eligible shareholders to apply for opportunities that suit their needs and interests,” said Michelle Andon, Doyon shareholder outreach manager.
