DLT Class of 2017 Graduates and Class of 2018 Recruitment Begins
The most recent Doyon Leadership Training (DLT) cohort, the class of 2017, celebrated their graduation at the Doyon Industrial Facility on October 6. The application period for the class of 2018 is currently open and will close Friday, November 17, 2017, at 5 p.m. AKST.
Interested participants can access the application on the DLT webpage at www.doyon.com. Those wanting to participate in the 2018 DLT class should download, complete and submit the full application by 5 p.m. AKST on November 17.
DLT is an intense training program that focuses on the personal growth and leadership of the participants, who are selected based on the strength of their application. Doyon, Limited shareholders and employees within the Doyon Family of Companies are eligible to apply.
“The Doyon leadership training has been quite an exciting journey. Life altering. Mind shifting. Pure fun and excitement. I would highly encourage shareholders to take advantage of this unique and extraordinary opportunity,” said 2017 participant, Larissa Sommer.
Unlike previous years, when training was held over a 10-month period, the 2018 class will experience a more condensed, five-month program. The 2018 DLT will take place February through August 2018. The following dates have been confirmed for in-person trainings, which will be held in Fairbanks:
- Module 1: February 8 – 11
- Module 2: April 6 – 8
- Module 3: May 18 – 20
- Module 4: July 13 – 15
- Module 5: August 24 – 27
Participants must commit to attend all classes in order to be accepted into the program. Doyon will cover the cost of training, lunch on training days, and airfare and shared lodging for those located outside the Fairbanks area. Participants must provide their own transportation to and from the training site at the Morris Thompson Cultural and Visitors Center in Fairbanks.
