Doyon Anvil Welcomes Terry Caetano as New GM
Doyon Anvil is pleased to welcome Terry Caetano as the company’s new general manager. As Doyon Anvil’s president and general manager, Caetano is responsible for leading the company’s management team. He works closely with senior management from Doyon, Limited and Anvil Corporation to identify company strategies, goals and targets, and then monitors the progress toward those goals.
Caetano also serves as Doyon Anvil’s program manager, overseeing all aspects of program management for Alaska clients. He establishes annual program goals and metrics, and works with project leaders to ensure they meet targets and deliver successful engineering projects.
Caetano holds a master’s degree in physical metallurgical engineering and a bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering from Montana Tech of the University of Montana. Metallurgical engineering is the study of physical and chemical behavior of metallic elements, their intermetallic compounds and their mixtures, which are called alloys.
Before moving to Alaska, Caetano managed several projects in Alaska and Washington state, and was Anvil’s metallurgical lab department manager. Caetano has been an employee of Anvil since 2000.
