Doyon Board Candidate Application Portal Opening
Doyon will be seeking candidates to fill four seats that will be open on the Doyon board of directors next spring. A link to the application portal will be posted to www.doyon.com/boardelection starting September 9, 2020.
Interested candidates will have until Thursday, October 8, 2020, at 5 p.m. AKDT, to apply online.
Doyon shareholders will vote to fill the four open seats at the 2021 Doyon annual meeting.
To be eligible, a candidate must be a voting Doyon shareholder who is at least 18 years of age. Each director seat is for a term of three years.
Current directors whose terms expire at the March 2021 annual meeting are Walter “Wally” Carlo, Jennifer Fate Velaise, Erica Frankson, and Christopher Simon.
Shareholders interested in serving on the Doyon board of directors and who wish to be included in Doyon’s proxy statement must complete a board candidate application, which will be available on the board election webpage starting September 9, 2020. Please note that the board application process is online. Additional details and instructions will be available on the Doyon website.
Doyon must receive completed applications no later than 5 p.m. AKDT on Thursday, October 8. All applicants must complete the online board application by the October 8 deadline to be considered for board candidacy.
