Doyon, Limited is pleased to have been involved with several important community events this past month.

Celebration of the Arctic
Doyon took part in the Celebration of the Arctic events by hosting an artisan fair in the Chiefs Court on May 10. The celebration was a community-driven, public event celebrating all things Arctic. Events took place inside and outside Doyon, Limited and the Worthington Building in downtown Fairbanks. The celebration featured an Alaska Native artisans fair, performance arts, food trucks, local information booths and kids activities.

American Heart Association Heart Walk
Doyon employees took it into their own hands to support the American Heart Association by raising money for those affected by heart-related diseases and health problems. Team Doyon employees raised $5,254 through raffles, lunch fundraisers, Team Doyon t-shirts sales, a silent auction and bake sale.

Northern Laundry Services Ribbon Cutting and Open House
Northern Laundry Services, LLC (NLS), a new wholly owned subsidiary of Doyon, held its ribbon cutting and open house on May 17. Guests enjoyed hors d’oeuvres while learning about Northern Laundry Services’ commercial and personal laundry service and receiving a behind-the-scenes tour of the facility.
