Doyon Remote Facilities & Services Conducts 1st Annual Field Training
The 1st Annual Field Training at Doyon Remote Facilities & Services (DRFS) took place this year, in two parts – one in February and one in March. Coordinating with our field employees schedules, we rotated two groups into Anchorage for a 2-day training session. Each of the sessions covered identical information which consisted of reviewing company policies and procedures, off-site classroom and hands-on generator training with NC Machinery and CAT Power Systems, a Human Resources and Legal compliance briefing, and a half day certification with TeamOne. This year we had nineteen employees complete and receive their First Aid and CPR / AED certification. Each group had the pleasure of meeting and speaking with guests from our parent company, Doyon, Limited, and with safety professionals from Arctic Chiropractic. DRFS will continue to host the annual training in efforts to educate and keep our employees safe as well as to carry out our company mission and vision. Our mission is to offer safe, contemporary and comfortable accommodations in remote locations. Our vision is a modern approach to remote living.
