New Class of Doyon Leadership Training Begins
Doyon Leadership Training (DLT) classes commenced in Fairbanks in October with a total of 17 new participants. The five-month leadership program consists of five three-day modules starting in October and ending in May 2019.
DLT is led by facilitator Tracy Snow and coach Nina Heyano, both Doyon, Limited shareholders and co-owners of Inspire Leadership Academy.
“We are excited for the DLT Class of 2019 … excited for them to develop as self-inspired leaders, living conscious, intentional lives … excited for their employers … excited for their families … excited for Doyon and our communities,” Snow said. “When our shareholders and employees make this commitment to growth, we all reap the benefits.”
DLT was created to invest in the best talent throughout the Doyon region. Doyon strives to build leaders, both shareholders and employees, equipping them to excel in their personal and professional lives. This investment into the development of strong leaders affects the participant as well as their colleagues, families and peers, resulting in a higher quality of work and life.
The leadership program is open by application only. Each person that applies submits a thorough application and questionnaire addressing why they should be picked for the program. Eligible participants are chosen based on their strengths, skills and leadership potential. Doyon shareholders and employees of the Doyon Family of Companies are eligible to apply.
