Jennifer Fate spends her time in both Fairbanks, Alaska and Los Angeles, California. She was first elected to the Doyon board of directors in 2006, and was most recently reelected to the board in 2015. Fate serves on the Finance Committee and the Doyon Government Contracting, Inc. board and is the past chair of the Doyon Budget and Audit Committee. She has been an independent TV producer, working on projects for Bravo, Discovery Channel, Travel Channel and the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC). She has also worked in finance and acquisitions for multinational corporation Twentieth Century Fox. She is a past co-chair of the diversity and multicultural committee for the Center for Early Education in Los Angeles and currently sits on the Foster Care Counts board and on the Pine Ridge Girls School board. She received her MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business and her bachelor of arts degree from Princeton University. She is a lifelong subsistence fisherman.
