Treasurer Miranda Wright, of Fairbanks, Alaska, has served on the Doyon board of directors since 1995. She has held the office of chair and currently serves as treasurer. Wright serves as the chair of the Finance Committee, and is on the Executive Committee. She is also a member of the Doyon Government Contracting, Inc. board. Wright holds a bachelor’s degree and master of arts degree from the University of Alaska Fairbanks (UAF). Wright was director of the department of Alaska Native Studies and Rural Development at UAF. She is active on the Chancellor’s Advisory Committee on Native Education and chairs the community advisory board for Holland America/Westours. She has served on numerous boards and commissions primarily focused on economic development and education.
Her term ends in 2022.
