Sustainability Spotlight: Shareholder Newsletter Update
The future depends on the sustainable work we do today. To continue to do our part, we are moving to quarterly printed newsletters. Shareholders will receive newsletters mailed to them in March, June, September, and December and will continue to receive electronic newsletters for the remainder of the year. The quarterly newsletters will contain information that was provided in the electronic versions. This will reduce paper use by roughly 100,000 pages! Shareholders can opt-in online at www.doyon.com/forms to receive future Doyon meeting materials via email.
The Sustainability Team has been busy bringing ideas to life. Below is the process of how the Sustainability Team does this:
- Gather sustainable ideas.
- Prioritize ideas from the most impactful to the least impactful based on cost, time, and number of individuals it reaches.
- Finalize a plan for the year based on the top five more impactful ideas.
- Get to work!
Once a project is completed, the Sustainability Team will add another project from the sustainable ideas list. This ensures that Doyon is continually moving forward with sustainable actions.
