In November 2021, Doyon had the water fountains replaces with water bottle filling stations at the Doyon Plaza building.
“Throughout COVID-19, hands-free options were needed. I’m glad we are able to provide clean, filtered water and a touchless option to fill water bottles,” said Daphne Attla, former Board Coordinator and sustainability team member when the stations were placed in 2018.
Since installation on November 1, over 3,000 20oz plastic water bottles have been saved by using these bottle filling stations. Additionally, each water filter is NSF certified, which means it pours out cleaner, healthier water.
