Doyon, Limited was pleased to host and sponsor many events this year.
Doyon is proud to be a major sponsor of the annual Yukon 800 speedboat race, organized by the Fairbanks Outboard Association. This year, Doyon also funded 60 brand new life jackets for the teams that compete in the race.
This year, Doyon hosted its annual back-to-school fair in Wasilla on August 21, 2019. A great turnout of 79 shareholders attended the event. Staff was available to update records, share current opportunities within the Doyon family of companies, and distribute backpacks and school supplies to students in attendance. Doyon also selected 15 villages to distribute over 300 backpacks and school supplies to; these included Allakaket, Anvik, Chalkyitsik, Circle, Beaver, Holy Cross, Hughes, Kaltag, Koyukuk, McGrath, Nikolai, Nulato, Rampart, Shageluk, and Tanacross.
AFN welcome potlatch
Doyon co-hosted the Alaska Federation of Natives (AFN) welcome potlatch with Tanana Chiefs Conference and Fairbanks Native Association on October 16, 2019, at the Big Dipper Ice Arena in Fairbanks.

Doyon has supported many other events and causes throughout the year, including: Smokehouse Gala, Stir It Up for their effort to feed kids in the Fairbanks North Star Borough School District, the American Lung Association Clean Air Challenge, the Alaska Academic Decathlon, Bread Line, the American Heart Association in Fairbanks and Anchorage, Alaska Legal Services Corporation, Kids Voting North Alaska for the 2020 Election, Yukon River Inter-Tribal Watershed Council, Healing Native Hearts Coalition, Alaska Oil and Gas Association Conference, American Cancer Society, Relay for Life, Chena River Run, Alaska-Yukon Wood Energy Conference, and many more.
