Doyon recently completed a successful donation drive to support families who were displaced by Typhoon Halong and brought to Fairbanks. The coordinated community effort underscores Doyon’s longstanding commitment to assisting Alaska Native families during times of crisis.

In total, more than 600 pounds of food were donated to the Fairbanks Community Food Bank, specifically to help the relocated families. In addition, employees and partners contributed a wide range of essential items, including pet supplies, kitchen items, clothing, hygiene products, and cleaning products, to support families as they transition into temporary housing and begin rebuilding their lives.

The drive brought together staff and community members across multiple organizations, including employees from Doyon, Limited, Doyon Energy Services, and Tanana Chiefs Conference — all working collaboratively to meet urgent needs.
