Doyon Roustabout Training

Safe and successful oil rig operations rely on roustabouts. Learn how our training program can lead to employment in the North Slope oil fields and other remote locations of Alaska.  

Thanks to our 30 plus-year partnership with Tanana Chiefs Conference, Doyon offers free Roustabout training to shareholders with an interest in oil and gas careers.

The Doyon IT Academy will prepare you to fill a wide range of entry-level technology positions. This is a free 25-week training open to shareholders. who have a passion for technology, desire to establish a career in IT, present themselves well, and communicate effectively.

UNION OPPORTUNITIES

Doyon Energy Services, formally known as Doyon Associated, is hiring for winter work on the North Slope, January – April 2026, in partnership with five unions.

JOB HIGHLIGHTS

  • Minimum $24/hour + overtime
  • 12-hour days, 7 days/week
  • 6 weeks on, 1 week off
  • Work estimated to start January and end in April
  • Point of hire: Fairbanks or Anchorage
  • Training provided in Fairbanks
  • No experience required for entry-level positons

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be 18 yers or older
  • Dependable and ready to work
  • Able to pass a drug test
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
