ELIGIBILITY
- Must be a descendant (child, grandchild, and great-grandchildren) of an original owner of Class A, B, C, or D shares
- Must be 18 years or older
- Born after December 18, 1971
- Cannot be dually enrolled to another Alaska Native corporation, Tetlin Native Corporation, Native Village of Venetie Tribal Government, Arctic Village, or Metlakatla
How to apply
- Download and complete the Descendant Registry application.
- Attach your original certified birth certificate.
- Submit your completed application and supporting document to Doyon.
Incomplete applications and those without a certified birth certificate will not be processed and will be sent back to the applicant.

To qualify, you must:
- Be a descendant of an original owner of Doyon Class A, B, C, or D shares.
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Have been born after December 18, 1971.
- Not be dually enrolled in another Alaska Native regional corporation, Tetlin Native Corporation, Native Village of Venetie Tribal Government, Arctic Village, or Metlakatla.
To apply:
- Download and complete the Descendant Registry application.
- Attach your original certified birth certificate.
- Submit your completed application and supporting document to Doyon.
Applications that are incomplete or submitted without a certified birth certificate cannot be processed and will be returned to the applicant.
A certified birth certificate is required to verify eligibility and document your lineal descent from an original Doyon shareholder.
No. The Descendant Registry does not provide distributions. It is intended to connect eligible descendants with Doyon’s programs, opportunities, and communications.
Yes. If your contact information changes, you should notify Doyon to ensure you continue receiving updates, newsletters, and information about available opportunities.
