As winter sets in across the Yukon Flats, all operations have been officially completed for the 2025 exploration season. Field crews wrapped up operations near Birch Creek in mid-October, followed by demobilization and winterizing of equipment into November. As was the case last year, equipment and infrastructure are being securely overwintered at the drill site and nearby locations – a standard industry practice that keeps operations safe and protects the environment. We thank all employees and contractors for their safe and efficient work this season, and extend our gratitude to shareholders for their partnership on the project.
Dialogue with Doyon Events
In October, Doyon hosted Dialogue with Doyon gatherings in Fort Yukon and Beaver. These meetings provided updates on current Doyon activities, including the Yukon Flats Exploration Project. Attendees enjoyed food, refreshments, and a chance to win cash prizes and a ticket to attend the 2026 Doyon Annual Meeting of Shareholders. We greatly appreciate those who took the time to participate and share feedback at these events.
Doyon Informational Session
Also in October, representatives from Hilcorp joined an informational session hosted by Doyon to update shareholders in-person and virtually about this year’s exploration activities near Birch Creek. The discussion was positive and responded to questions about the Yukon Flats Exploration Project, clarifying concerns around helicopter activity and flight paths. We were pleased to have another opportunity to engage with shareholders and provide status updates on the project.
Looking Ahead
Hilcorp is evaluating the results of the 2025 season. These findings will help determine the next steps for the Yukon Flats Exploration Project. Doyon shareholders and local residents will continue to remain engaged in the process.
Doyon would like to thank shareholders and community members who joined us throughout the fall for ongoing conversations about the Yukon Flats Exploration Project and other shareholder programs.
