Cydney David was selected as the Fairbanks Ice Dog hockey team jersey artist. The Alaska Native art inspired jersey will debut in November during National American Indian and Alaska Native Heritage month.

Cydney grew up in Northway, Tanacross, and Tok. She is the daughter of Christine Frank from Northway and Darrell David from Tetlin. Her maternal grandparents are Verda Paul and the late Eldred Paul, and her paternal grandparents are the late Helen David and late Charlie David, Sr. Cydney is the youngest of seven siblings.

She is currently attending the University of Alaska Fairbanks pursuing an associate’s degree in applied business and a certificate in business management.

Cydney and her husband, Charlie, have three children. During her free time, she enjoys beading, puzzles, and spending time with family and friends.
