Doyon, Limited welcomes nominations for the shareholder spotlight featured monthly in the Doyon newsletter and e-newsletter. The shareholder spotlights, implemented in June 2013, have previously recognized individuals, Doyon shareholder interns, facilities training graduates, and Doyon Foundation alumni.
To be considered for a spotlight, nominees should meet the following criteria:
- Be a Doyon shareholder
- Be 16 years of age or older; those under 18 will need parent/guardian permission to be featured
- Be nominated for an extraordinary accomplishment/talent/lifestyle (i.e., perpetuating or teaching cultural traditions, accomplishing a significant professional, educational or extracurricular achievement, etc.)
- Actively contribute to the social and economic well-being of Alaska Natives
- Uphold the Doyon mission and values
If you prefer to send in an email, please provide us with a nomination of 300 – 500 words detailing how the nominee meets the above criteria to communications@doyon.com. If the nomination meets the required criteria, a questionnaire will be emailed to the nominator for completion.
