Matthew Charles Bean was born in Silverton, Oregon and spent his young childhood years there, then moved to central Utah when he was nine. He graduated from Emery High in 1975. Matt spent his years working as a gifted auto mechanic. Matt loved the outdoors and spent much of his time in the deserts and mountains surrounding Ferron, Utah.
When Matt was younger he spent one summer working on a fishing boat off the coast of Alaska. He said it was one of the hardest jobs he ever had. Matt loved hunting and was proud when he bagged his first cougar in 1992. Matt will be missed by his siblings, Gary, Michael, Susan, Sally and step-sister Karen and his step-mother Murleen. Matt was preceded in death by his brothers David and Patrick and his parents Charles Bean and Anna Louise Muller.
Services were held on October 28, 2022 and Matt was laid to rest next to his brother Patrick and his father Charles in the Orangeville City Cemetery.
