John Shewfelt, Jr., is a Gwich’in Athabascan musician from Fort Yukon, Alaska. His social media videos have garnered hundreds of thousands of views, allowing him to perform all over Alaska, Canada, Spain, France, and Germany.
His original song, “The Legend Of Lance,” is nominated for a Native American Music Award for Best Americana Recording. Voting is open at www.nativeamericanmusicawards.com.
