On April 29, Doyon leadership led Hilcorp staff in visits to Yukon Flats communities, including Stevens Village, Beaver, Fort Yukon, and Birch Creek. These visits were part of Doyon’s ongoing efforts to keep communities informed about the Yukon Flats exploration project and to provide residents with opportunities to ask questions and share feedback directly with leadership from both Doyon and Hilcorp.

During the meetings, Doyon gave Hilcorp the opportunity to provide status updates on the exploration project. Doyon leaders emphasized the project’s long-term economic potential and reiterated the vision of Doyon’s early leaders who laid the groundwork for responsible resource development on Doyon lands that could benefit shareholders for generations to come in Birch Creek and throughout the Yukon Flats.
